Billy Hackenson '13 talks with students

Are you fascinated by problem solving? Do you like working in teams and meeting new people?  You may want to consider jumpstarting your career at a consulting firm.  On Monday, Sept. 9, alumni Rebecca Weidler ’12, Billy Hackenson ’13, and Mark Angel ’13 and their fellow Deloitte co-worker Steve Drake visited Davidson to educate students about Deloitte Consulting and encourage students to apply as Business Analysts.  Colleen Maher ’14, who interned in Deloitte’s New York office this fall and will start as a Business Analyst next year, and Richard Hendrix ’15, who will be interning with Deloitte this summer, also assisted with the presentation.

Deloitte is a global consulting company that works with clients in a variety of institutions and sectors to meet their multi-faceted needs. Monday’s info session stressed Deloitte’s dedication to educating their employees on a daily basis and allowing them to develop their careers along their lines of interest within the company. The current employees also highlighted the large support network that exists within Deloitte, one that has kept them learning and meeting new people consistently.
