Carlisle & Gallagher Recruits for New Analyst Program

On Monday, September 16, at 7:30 pm, Carlisle & Gallagher Consulting Group led an informational session for Davidson students about its new Analyst and Consulting program. The recruiter gave students an overview of the job of an analyst at CG, a Charlotte-based management and technology consulting firm that focuses on financial services. Davidson Alumni Katie Cruz ’13, who is an analyst, and Meg Currie ’12, who works internally in CG, were also on hand to share their experiences at the company.

Carlisle & Gallagher emphasized its expertise in areas such as commercial banking, wealth management, consumer banking, and cross-functional work, as well as the freedom given to employees to navigate between fields. CG represents seven of the ten largest financial service institutions in the United States, including companies such as Bank of America and The Hartford. In addition to representing large clients, employees of CG are able to work with senior management due to the medium size of the company. Both Meg and Katie attested to working directly with the senior executive leadership team—Katie even had the opportunity to work with a senior vice president, and she began her career less than three months ago. Perhaps this is why, as Meg pointed out, Carlisle & Gallagher has been voted one of the top places to work in Charlotte.

If you embody Carlisle & Gallagher’s five core attributes—collaborative, reliable, client-centric, entrepreneurial, and high-energy—you are encouraged to apply.  You only need a resume, which you must submit in WildcatLink by September 18 (Wednesday) at 11:59 pm.  First-round interviews will be held on campus on September 27.  Be sure to have your have your resume approved by the Center for Career Development prior to application if you have not already done so.

Thank you to Carlisle & Gallagher for hosting its first informational session at Davidson. We hope to have many more in the future!
